Soon after, he began teaching Junior High and High School Maths in the metro area, including 1 year teaching in the Marshall Islands in the West Pacific Ocean! It wasn't until Dr. Travis was training for a marathon wedding, ask him about it during your visit, that he had some knee pain and found himself in need of medical care. After a failure of resolving his symptoms with his medical doctor, Dr. Travis sought a local chiropractor and was back to running in no time! The experience opened his eyes to the simple yet life-changing benefits of chiropractic care. He soon enrolled at Northwestern Health Sciences University and completed the Chiropractic program, graduating Magna Cum Laude and beginning his journey as a Chiropractor serving the West Minneapolis Metro and surrounding communities.

Dr. Travis uses his training in chiropractic to help his patients feel better, move better, and do all the fun activities that they want to do! As a former teacher, Dr. Travis enjoys educating his patients about their body and how patterns of their lifestyle or work habits might be contributing to musculoskeletal dysfunction. By gaining an understanding of the individual as whole, Dr. Travis can make the best recommendations for continued improvement well beyond your first visit! He works with patients to discover their goals and tailor a treatment plan unique to the individual needs and constraints of each unique problem. Patients under Dr. Travis's care can expect to receive homework which will empower their healing and serve as useful and reliable tools to manage symptoms at home.

Dr. Travis and his wife stay very busy with their two young children. The family enjoys hiking, camping, taking morning walks at the Landscape Arboretum, and finding new and exciting playgrounds to challenge their young climbers! They love the West Metro and the variety of exciting adventures they can do as a family.
